Couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip. P and I were surprised by an upgrade to business class on KLM. We’re not sure what happened, but we’re guessing that the flight must have been overbooked because Schiphol was really busy Saturrday morning with a few large tour groups. Not that we were complaining. It was nice to stretch out our legs on the massage-enabled seats and get our own personal video screen. We only slept for a few hours on the plane, but the time seemed to pass very quickly and before we knew it, we were already landing at SFO. So begins our journey and we hope that this unexpected gift is a good sign of things to come.
